More and more people want to contribute to environmental protection through their personal decisions and choices as consumers. Also the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel as a leading five star Hotel in Salzburg wants to take this environmental and social responsibility. Therefore the Hotel earned as first five star Hotel in the city of Salzburg the "Austrian Eco-Label".
To earn this label there are certain criteria to fulfill. Most important the consumption of raw materials and energy regulations, emissions, recycling of goods, packaging, longevity and safety- to name just the main points.
The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is known for its great hospitality and is a major contributor to the national and local tourism and a main developer for great talents, who are dominating the regional, national and international tourism segment. We are therefore very proud to be certified with the Austrian Eco-Label for tourism.
Environmental sustainability is a major fact for Starwood and for the Sheraton brand. We, as Sheraton Salzburg Hotel, take this responsibility very seriously in order to perform as leaders on this segment.
